Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Akron Elementary School! It’s an honor to greet both returning and new families as we embark on another exciting year of learning and growth. At Akron Elementary, we are deeply committed to the mission of our corporation: TVSC is dedicated to fostering student success through the development of character, leadership, and literacy.
Our vision is clear: we strive to do whatever it takes to prepare all students to excel – today, tomorrow, and in the future. This vision drives everything we do, from the innovative lessons in our classrooms to the supportive environment we cultivate throughout our school. We believe that every student has the potential to achieve great things, and we are here to support them every step of the way.
This year, we continue to focus on creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and inspired to learn. Our dedicated teachers are prepared to deliver lessons that not only meet state standards but also ignite a passion for learning. From nurturing a love for reading to hands-on STEM activities through Project Lead the Way, our diverse programs are designed to cater to all interests and abilities.
I am proud to be part of a community where students, staff, and parents work together to build genuine relationships and support student success.
